What happens when real companies come to the EV party?
The same thing has happened in the US, by the way. Model Y is selling well at the cost of Model 3 and S sales, but Tesla US sales have been dead flat for five quarters.

“Tesla says that their recipe will be the standard in the future, but what Toyota has is a real kitchen and a real chef,”
That’s hardcore shade for the Japanese

Heh. Yeah, as you I know I spent a lot of time over there in a previous life working the electronics beat. And, the Japanese DO NOT speak ill... ever. They can hardly ever say NO, much less trash-talk.
So, yep, casting those kinds of aspersions is like a Gary Busey Full-nutjob-rant would be perceived over here. Anybody that thinks Toyota hasn’t figured out what kind of bug Tesla is and which set of katana swords they’ll use to slice it up? Isn’t paying attention. Toyota has a 500 year plan and the balance sheet to back it up.
Seeing Tesla stall in the US and Europe? Makes me think it’s about to get messy.
